Our Process
Sensational Cakes and Desserts is devoted to crafting the perfect handmade custom wedding cake for your special day. From intimate weddings to grand celebrations, we are here to create a dreamy wedding cake that matches your wedding day. We require a minimum of 3 months to begin processing wedding cakes orders. We will work with you to design a bespoke wedding cake that suits your wedding theme, highlights your wedding dress, and matches your colour scheme - the possibilities are endless! All of our sugar craft flowers and lacework are meticulously handmade by us to ensure that your luxury wedding cake is completely unique and expertly crafted with love and care. Delivery & Set Up at Wedding Venue
We recommend delivery for wedding cakes due to their size and multiple tiers. As we have experience in transporting cakes, we can ensure safe delivery to your venue. Delivery prices are determined by distance from Southampton to your wedding venue.
We charge a £49.99 fixed fee for setting up and displaying 3+ tiered cakes at the venue within Hampshire.
Other locations outside Hampshire will attract additional cost. Please get in touch to find out.
At this point, we ensure the cake is correctly displayed in readiness for the event before handing over to the designated contact person. We usually suggest a relative, friend or your event planner.

Rentals
We have a variety of props and cake stands available to rent. Rentals are free however a refundable security deposit of £100 is required. The deposit will be fully refunded once the item is returned in the exact condition.

Brownies - £3.00 each.
Mini Cupcakes - £2.50 each.
Sugar Cookies - £3.00 each.
All treats are beautifully pre packaged. These be personalised to match your theme and table setting.
Tasting & Consultation
Our taster boxes are available to purchase periodically for £24.99 (postal fees apply for delivery within the UK). A box contains a selection of 4 of your preferred cake flavours. You get to choose that at the point of purchase .
The £29.99 taster box cost will be complimentary if you book any of our tiered cakes valued over £600
After we provide you with a quote and you're happy to proceed, we'd require a £100 down payment to reserve the date, and book a design/consultation session virtually.
We aim to finalize the entire details of your wedding cake booking at this point. Having a list of must-haves and specific details you'd like incorporated into your wedding cake can help make this process seamless.
The balance is required 4 weeks to the wedding date.
